Selection tour and admission
Led by the auctioneer Uwe Heckmann the selection commission of the "Verein zur Absatzförderung des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V." is looking at 500 talents per year. The itinerary of the selection commission for each auction will be published in the "Pferdeforum" and also on our homepage.


"Verpflichtungserklärung" (Commitment document)
By signing this document the owner of the horse commits himself to sell his horse over the auction. The owner will get this commitment document together with the General Business Conditions.


Veterinary Examination
When a horse has been admitted to the auction the owner has to make an appointment with the Vet.Clinic of Dr. Steinmann in Mühlen in order to make a veterinary examination of the horse.

Date for taking photos
After the selection and the vet.check the owners of the auction candidates will be invited in written form for this date. Our house photographer Werner Ernst will take photos of the candidates for the auction catalogue then.

Delivery of the auction candidates to the Pferde Zentrum Vechta
After having been informed in written notice the owners bring their auction horses to the Pferde Zentrum Vechta. For the two interim auctions in December and February the horses should be delivered approx. 10 days before the date of auction and for the two Elite-Auctions in spring and fall the delivery should be approx. 4 weeks before the date of auction. For the delivery of broodmares or foals the owner will also be informed in written notice. The auction horses are insured from the day they are standing in the stable of the Pferde Zentrum Vechta.

Training of the auction horses
Training times for the horses will be listed up in the catalogue as well as on our homepage!
Special Presentation
The dates of presentation of the auction horses will be fixed and be published in the catalogue as well as on our homepage.
Trying out of the auction candidates
Individual trying of the auction candidates is possible after making an appointment by telephone.

After the knock-down
the horses are still insured for 8 weeks (foals until the day they are picked up by the buyer or rather until the date which has been mentioned in the catalogue)

Delivery and Payment
- Purchaser -
The costs are composed as follows: knock-down price, commision fees (published in each catalogue),
insurances fees (published in each catalogue).
Payment has to be effected directly after the auction by cheque or in cash.
- Delivery -
The delivery will be after full payment of the horse to the Verein zur Absatzförderung des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V..  
 
- Exhibitors -
The costs for the exhibitor will be compensated with the according knock-down price and are composed as follows:
training
marketing
insurance
blanket
snaffle bit
bridle
blacksmith
commission fees  (according to the list mentioned in the Business Conditions for each auction handed over to the exhibitor when the horse is selected)
 
- Payment -
The exhibitor will be paid within two weeks after the date of the auction.
