Registration for the foal market
On Sunday, 30 August, the 17th Oldenburger foal market will be held at the riding arena Reiterwaldstadion in Vechta. The registration form is available at the main branding dates or online at www.oldenburger-pferde.com.
The registration fee of 55 € per foal has to enclosed as a cheque or direct debit authorisation. Foals that have not been registered beforehand will not be published in the catalogue. The registration will close on Friday, 24 July. Foals registered after this date will be charged with a late registration fee of an additional 25 €.

History:
For more than 10 years the Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes holds its traditional Oldenburger foal market („Fohlenmarkt“). Established in 1993 it is still a steady component of the Oldenburger calendar of events. At first the „Fohlenmarkt“ always took place in the middle of September domiciled at the riding facility of the Reit- und Fahrvereins Helle e.V near Bad Zwischenahn. Now, after the relocation of the administrative office to Vechta in 2001 the Reiterwaldstadion is the venue at the end of August. Annually approx. 300 foals out of the best Oldenburger dam lines are offered for the free sale by our breeders. Whether successful sport horses, high grade breeding mares or licensed stallions (e.g. Laudation by Landadel; Champion Stallion 1996) they all were found as foals on this stage.

Notification:
The foals that are scheduled for the sale have to be notified on a corresponding form in written by the end of June (the deadline for notification will be disclosed in time). Forms for the notification are displayed at the main brand dates („Hauptbrenntermine“). They can also be ordered in our administrative office: telephone number +49 4441-9355-0. Moreover it is possible to download the form from our home page http://www.oldenburger-pferde.com/ in the section „Formulare-Service“. You have to enclose a collection-only cheque of 55,- € per foal with your notification. Please do not pay the fee in cash. Incoming notifications without the corresponding fee will in principle not be handled.

Procedure:
The range of the notified sales candidates will be published in advance at our home page. Furthermore we will issue a catalogue that is available at the administrative office approx. 14 days before the event starts. All foals have to be delivered by the start of the event (10 o’clock). The event starts with a short single presentation of all foals on the circle (outside ground) following the catalogue numbers. The breeders/exhibitors whose foals have not been sold after the first presentation have once again the possibility to present their foal for a second time. The single presentations will be commented correspondingly by a representative. For questions regarding the sale our marketing team is at your disposal:
