If stallions other than those listed in the Stallion Directory are to be used for breeding, a written application for a single breeding permit must be submitted to the Breeding Director before the mare is bred.
Off-spring by stallions that are not eligible for Stallion Book I will receive a white birth certificate instead of the red pedigree paper (Abstammungsnachweis).
The following documents must be submitted
From the mare:

• Name
• Life number

From the stallion:  

• Name
• Life number
• Result of licensing
• Result of the stallion performance test, GAG (time form for Thoroughbreds) or achievements in sport.

In accordance with the single breeding permit, a higher fee will due for registering the foal (see schedule of fees).
