Member´s Meeting
Delegates from the individual county associations are sent to the "Members' Meeting", including the chairperson of the county association. The make-up of this body reflects the number of registered mares in the respective region. At present, the Members' Meeting consists of 20 members. The Members' Meeting elects the Managing Board, decides who will be in the Evaluation Committee and confirms the position of the Breeding Director.
The Managing Board
The Managing Board is made of the President, his Deputy and two other members. To ensure the continuity of work, one of these positions is up for election each year.
The current President is Wilhelm Weerda (Wilhelmshaven) and his Deputy is Bodo Willms (Oldenburg). The other members of the Managing Board are Dr. Albrecht Dalhoff (Lohne), Egon Wichmann (Edewecht) and Wilhelm Strohm (Nordhorn).

The Evaluation Committee consists of five persons. Along with the Breeding Director there are four honorary members and active breeders present when mares, foals or stallions are to be inspected and to select or decide which horses are to be sent to national events as ambassadors of their breed and the Oldenburg breeding area.
The Breeding Director is Dr. Wolfgang Schulze-Schleppinghoff and the other members are Ulrich Henschke (Bremen-Borgfeld), Georg Thole (Visbek), Wolfram Wittig (Rahden) and Sören N. Pedersen (Winkelsett).
