For our international customers we are looking for experienced show jumpers (7-10 years old) that have placed up to advanced (S) level as well as talented, good type young jumpers!

For more than nine months now, Gerald Geessink, a Dutch citizen and show jumping competition rider has been employed by the Verband der Züchter des Oldenburger Pferdes e. V. And so far so good – a number of respected achievements, regional as well as international, have set a milestone in the heart of Oldenburg Münsterland.

The training and schooling of talented young horses has the utmost priority at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta – and that is where Gerald Geessink trains and markets the horses of Oldenburg breeders.

The possibilities for working with the horses on an every day base that are available there couldn't be better and right now, a large 70 m x 70 m outdoor ring is being added in the Reiterwald Stadium. These sport horses are also taken care of professionally by Geessink's   team.

With many years of experience as a guide, Geessink converts the potential of these Oldenburg youngsters into high quality performances that are successfully demonstrated in public at a regional level. He's also on the road internationally with his older sport partners.

The current indoor season is producing results worth mentioning. In December 2007 Geessink participated in a five-star show in Mechelen, Belgium and at the beginning of January this year he took second place in the Grand Prix of Neustadt/Dosse. This was followed by the Late Entry in Vechta where he presented the Oldenburg youngsters in basic novice (A) level tests for young jumpers. The show in Nantes, France was especially successful for Geessink. Here he took third place in the qualifier and the Six Barres test and fourth in the Grand Prix.

Further top achievements followed the beginning of February in Neumünster. Among other ribbons, Geessink also took sixth place in the Championships.

But that's just the beginning. The end of March he'll be going to Neeroeteren in Belgium to ride in three-star competitions and he was also invited to the international show in Dortmund. In April Geessink will start in Lummen, Belgium (CSI ***). By the beginning of April, this Dutchman must also start to prepare for the Dutch Championships which will take place the end of April in Mierlo.
