The Verein zur Absatzförderung des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V. takes care of marketing in general. Auctions for riding horses, stallions, broodmares and foals are held through the year. These are supplemented by free treaty markets, free-jumping days, the foal market and a sales file on the internet as well as at the Verein's office.

Managing Board
The Managing Board consists of the President, his deputy and two further members.  In order to ensure continuity, one post is up for election each year. 
The current President is Wilhelm Weerda (Wilhelmshaven), his deputy Bodo Willms (Oldenburg). Further members of the Managing Board are Dr. Albrecht Dalhoff (Lohne) and Egon Wichmann (Edewecht).
