26.06.2008 – Sport Achievements of OLD Horses
Five horses from the Oldenburg Sport Promotion Program, four of which are former auction horses, will be representing the German colors at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses that will take place in Verden from July 30 to August 3, 2008: Della Cavalleria OLD°, Desperado OLD° (by Dressage Royal-Rouletto, breeder. Karl Lenk, Glossen) with Nadine Plaster, Diamantenbörse OLD°, Revanche de Rubin OLD (by Rubin-Royal-Landadel, breeder: Harli Seifert, Löningen) with Juliane Brunkhorst and Silberaster OLD°.

Nörten-Hardenberg
The Gothaer Trophy at the Burgturnier in Hardenberg was taken by Leena (by Lord Liberty-Wendekreis, breeder: Imke Westermann-Oehmen, Emtinghausen) under Markus Beerbaum. Cash Junior (by Cash-Landadel, breeder: Friedhelm Vehlber, Rahden) and Gert van Bruggink (NED) took fourth place in the warm-up. Eighth place in the 1.40 meter class went to Lennox Luis (by Liberty M-Zeus, breeder: Jürgen Künken, Varel) with Jörg Kreutzmann. Lord Spezi (by Lord Pezi-Grandeur, breeder: Karl Vosshage, Norturp) and Katharina Offel finished eighth in the 1.50 meter class. Cicero (by Charon-Contango, breeder: Reinhard Wilms, Hinte) and Jürgen Kraus took fourth in the 1.40 meter class. In the 1.45 meter class, Pico's Boy° (by Pik Labionics-Grannus, breeder: Franz-Josef Wulf, Dinklage) and Karl Brocks finished seventh. Also placed: Potthoff’s Charming Boy (by Corradino-Falstaff, breeder: Albert Boerjes, Varel) with Markus Schlamann, Par de Priamos (by Padarco-Quick Star, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, Steinfeld) with Hans-Helmut Bauer and She’s my Lagy (by Landadel-Goldstern, breeder: Alois Pott zur Lage, Herzlake) under Alexandra Marowsky. » more

07.05.2008 - Gerald Geessink again Successful
Lummen (BEL)
The Oldenburg Jumper Stable Manager, Gerald Geessink, won the 1.50 meter show jumping test of Lummen (BEL) on Sarina (by Larino-Burggraaf). With Pokemon (by Polydor) he took ninth place in the 1.40 meter jumping test. He was also a member of the seventh placed Dutch team in the Nations Cup on his Casco (by Cascavelle-Landlord).

At the Preis der Besten show in Warendorf, Florestan° (by Feinbrand-Aktuell, breeder: Heinrich Hentemann jun., Damme) and Kathleen Keller took the title in the class for Young Dressage Riders. Third place went to Gryffindor° (by Giorgione-Dell Magna, breeder: Dr. Wilfried Bechtolsheimer, GB-Cirencester) with Ann-Kristin Dornbracht and fourth place to Weltmelodie (by Welt Hit II-Don Gregory, breeder: Hans-Gerd Rosenstengel, Kettenkamp) under Katharina Winkelhues.

Lacanda (by Landadel-Calando I, breeder: Gunther Schneider, Düsseldorf) and Charlotte Platt won with the British team in the Nations Cup of Lisbon (POR). Dan (by Drossan-Aldatus, breeder: Paul Schockemöhle, Steinfeld) and Henk van de Pol were on the second placed Dutch team. Cherubin (by Continue-Palermo, breeder: Gestüt Lewitz, Steinfeld) and Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) won the 2-phase show jumping test. » more

21.05.2008 – 44th Summer Mixed Sales
At the 44th edition of the Special Auction on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at the Oldenburg Horse Center Vechta, 44 riding horses, 8 broodmares and 34 hand-selected elite foals will be auctioned.
A Rubin-Royal son named Raffles will open the Summer Mixed Sales with catalogue number one. This six-year old, black gelding from the famous Rudilore line has already collected ribbons in tests for young dressage horses.
Further dressage pupils are by the champion stallions Don Kennedy, His Highness and Stedinger. Well-tested sires such as Sunny-Boy, Don Cardinale, Don Gregory, Diamond Hit, Don Larino, Rohdiamant and Rosario will be represented by their off-spring in Vechta. » more
