26.11.2005 - 420.000 Euro-record for the winner
For the absolute record price of 420.000 Euro the recently nominated winning stallion of the Oldenburger licensing was auctioned. The son of Kaiser Franz-Lefevre was bought by the Olympic champion in dressage Sissy Max-Theurer from Schloss Achleiten in Austria. The opulent moving dark chestnut was bred by Thomas Staufenbiel from Büttstedt and exhibited by Gestüt Sprehe in Löningen. The 1d-premium stallion by Florestan I-Donatelli (Breeder: Oliver Kotschofsky, Visbek) was purchased for 60.000 Euro by the Hengststation Paul Schockemöhle in Mühlen. 47.000 Euro was the 1h-premium stallion – a son of the Quidam’s Rubin (dam by Carthago Z, B.: Franz-Josef Broxtermann, Wardenburg) – worth for Dr. Susanne Wulfsberg from the Gestüt Floggensee in Neritz in Schleswig-Holstein. The 1i-premium stallion was bought by the Swiss Karl Manser for the Nation Price show jumping rider Urs Fäh.
The licensed skewbald by Semper-Pablo, bred by Lorenz Ehlen in Scheuern was the darling of the public and was sold for 110.000 Euro to the Gestüt Sprehe in Löningen. Anne Haase from Fischerhude bought a licensed son of Breitling W-Rohdiamant (B.: Hans-Heinrich Oltmann, Borstel) for 57.000 Euro.
At the sale of the 23 licensed and 14 non-licensed stallions of the Oldenburg licensing a turnover of 1,46? million Euro was realised alltogether. 14 stallions were sold abroad. The average price of the premium stallions was 145.500 Euro, of the licensed 35.894 Euro and of the non-licensed stallions 14.571 Euro.
From the licensing of the Springpferdezuchtverband Oldenburg-International (OS) only two licensed and one non-licensed stallion were sold via the auction. For the licensed son of Abke-Darnels (B.: B.L. Borghuis, NED-Beuningen) the knock-down price was 36.000 Euro. Wilhelm Weerda, the President of the Oldenburger Verband, was very satisfied with the run of the second jointly organised licensing of the two associations and with the result of the stallion market. In spite of blizzard and the chaotic traffic situation on the motorways the Oldenburger Pferde Zentrum Vechta was crowded with visitors from home and abroad.
The breeding director of both associations, Dr. Wolfgang Schulze-Schleppinghoff, expressed the following with regard to the whereabouts of the stallions: “Traditionally the requirement for young stallions of the associated stallion owners is satisfied with the Oldenburg and OS licensing.” This also explains why several stallions are not for sale. Thus the 2nd reserve champion and decorated as best jumping stallion, the son of Ludwig von Bayern-Acord II is located at its breeder Gerd Sosath in Lemwerder. At their owner Paul Schockemöhle remain the 1e-premium stallion by Diamond Hit-Santander H (B.: Hans and Britta Scherbing, Norddöllen) and the 1g-premium stallion by King Arthur/T.-Andiamo (B.: Dr. Beata Homberg, Lienen): Also the Danish Gestüt Blue Hors never separates from its 1j-premium stallion by Dormello-Landadel (B.: Berend-Reinhard Haschen, Jade).
The view with regard to the premium stallions of the OS licensing is similar. The winner Charming Boy (by Contendro I-Caletto I, B.: Tanja Keller, Hechthausen) remains in possession of Anne Haase, Fischerhude and will be located at the Gestüt Vorwerk in Cappeln and brought out in the sport by Mario Stevens. The 1st reserve champion by Cordalmé Z-Lord Pezi will start covering at its breeder Gilbert Böckmann in Lastrup. The 2nd reserve champion by Orlando-Landgraf (B.: Georg Clausen, Rabenkirchen) will be located at the Zuchthof Klatte in Klein Roscharden.
At present there are still purchase negotiation in progress regarding the first Oldenburg reserve champion by Fürst Heinrich-Argentinus (B.: Andreas Klinker, Molbergen) and the 1f-premium stallion by Rohdiamant-Grundstein II (B.: Harli Seifert, Löningen).
