26.11.2005 - Le Carolus and Sir Donnerhall main premium winner 2005
At the Oldenburger Althengstparade more than 100 covering stallions of the breeding area presented themselves to a capacity crowd. The reason for spontaneous applause in the Oldenburger Pferde Zentrum Vechta were among others the performance of the winning stallion 2003 Steding from the Station Gerd Sosath in Lemwerder, the vice national champion Belissimo M from the station Elmerhaus in Lippetal and the vice world champion Donnerball from the Gestüt Sprehe in Löningen-Benstrup. A terrific final point marked the main premium winner 2001 and qualifier for the Burg-Pokal Rubin Royal from the Station Harli Seifert in Löningen and Rosario from the Station Schockemöhle in Mühlen.
For the VTC-jumping stallion 2005 was nominated Armitage (by Argentinus-Grannus, Breeder: Tjeerd Hoekstra, Strücklingen) who went so successfully under Markus Ehning and was bread by the Hengststation Heinrich Klatte in Klein Roscharden. Because of the bad weather Armitage could not come. In his place the stallion Abke from the Station Klatte was given the sash. The award VTV-dressage stallion 2005 went to Diamond Hit (by Don Schufro-Ramino, B.: Gabriele Harder-Brune, Bramsche), international dressage shooting star with the British Emma Hindle from the Brookhouse stud in the hessisch Erbach who has won the team bronze medal at the European Championships.
With regard to the competition for the main premium at the new generation of stallions in the class “accentuation jumping” the winner was Le Carolus (Breeder: Gerd Sosath, Lemwerder) from the Zuchthof Josef Kathmann in Hausstette. The son of Landor S-Carolus was sold as an elite-foal via the auction in Vechta and was awarded 1j-premium stallion Oldenburg. In the meantime he achieved winnings and placings up to class M, among others place 4 at the Oldenburger Landeschampionat in Rastede 2005. He also convinced with his sportive looking foals. The 1a-main premium “accentuation dressage” went to Sir Donnerhall from the Station Paul Schockemöhle in Mühlen. The son of Sandro Hit-Donnerhall, breeder Maik Kanitzky in Züllsdorf is the reigning Oldenburger Landeschampion of the 4-year-old stallions, winner of his stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf and delivered several expensive foals, as for example the most expensive foal Sternenfänger with 45.000 Euro at the elite-foal sale in August this year.
