Since autumn 2005 the so-called showing days (“Zeigetage”) exist within the service program of the Auktionsbüro Vechta.
The background of this idea is to intensify the co-operation between the Verein zur Absatzförderung des Oldenburger Pferdes e.V. (in the following called Verein) and the owners of the horses.

A showing day is being organised by the owners!

For this purpose several persons with their horses which they want to sell team up – however, at least 5 horses – and organise a date in a riding school in their area.
There the candidates will be shown in the free-jumping and/or under the saddle.

The employees of the Verein examine the horses, take them possibly into their selling file or give a recommendation with regard to the further work and the development.

However, the showing days shall not be understood as a competition to the selection dates for the auctions!

In last winter some of these reviews have been held and several horses found a new owner.
